Occasionally, we approach local businesses offering improved versions of their existing sites. The website for Norman James Hair Studio was one such occasion.
Situated in rural North Yorkshire, the interior of this unassuming salon exudes a stylish city chic. Fitted with modern fixtures, clean lines and a beautiful floral feature, the brand voice is clearly one of elegant glamour.
Unfortunately the old website, featuring dingy green backgrounds framed by garish, blurry wallpaper, was painfully undermining the intended brand image. To customers, the elegance depicted in the salon photographs was being suppressed, subjugated by the overwhelming inelegance of the site design itself.
